As important as make-up is to keep you looking your best; every girl needs to make sure they follow a good skin care regime. Im not talking anything extreme – a daily cleanse, tone and moisturise will clean out the skin and prepare it well for make-up application. Every few days a good exfoilator should be used to remove dead skin also. If you’re not a regular cleanser, toner and moisturiser you will be surprised to see how much dirt is still is the skin after just washing alone. If you really want to look after your skin a deep facial every 6 weeks will keep your skin looking amazing! And ALWAYS remember to remove make-up before going to sleep – leaving old make-up on while your skin is trying to renew itself during your sleeping hours is very harmful to the beauty of your skin. This will cause a build of of dead skin and your skin will look dull and tired. It’s also a great idea to use masks or exfoiliators on the skin before you go to sleep so that your skin has a few hours to breathe whilst totally cleansed.

I use Decleor cleanser, toner and moisturiser. It is very gentle on the skin, full of natural ingredients and leaves face feeling fabulous!

For exfoiliator I use Soap and Glory’s ‘The Greatest Scrub of All’. It is a great product which you can feel working on the skin immediately and it smells amazing.

I also use Dermalogica’s skin hydrating mask once a week or when my skin is looking tired to give it that extra boost it needs to look great!

As you can see I am not loyal to any brand and it’s important to find products that suit your individual skin type. We also need to remember that beauty starts from the inside and we need to drink plenty of water and try to eat as much fresh fruit and vegetables as possible to really give our skin the best chance!
